Job summary

Proteus Professionals in Spain is seeking a hands-on, site-focused Project Coordinator to support senior Project Managers on superyacht painting, finishing and refit projects. You will work with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and shipyard staff to maintain schedules, resources, documentation, communication and quality aboard yachts, with travel to Valencia/Sagunto as required.

For this early-career role, experience in project coordination or site operations is valued.

Qualifications

• Some relevant project coordination, operational or technical-site experience.
• Strong planning, organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working on site, in shipyards and onboard yachts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with different stakeholders.
• Basic familiarity with schedules, project documentation and progress reporting.
• Strong Spanish and good English.

The role

This is a hands-on, site-focused position supporting experienced Project Managers with the planning, coordination and delivery of superyacht painting, finishing and refit projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and shipyard personnel, helping to maintain schedules, resources, documentation, communication and quality throughout live projects.

The role offers a clear route toward taking on greater project responsibility as experience develops. Previous paint or coatings experience is useful, but not essential.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a motivated, organised and technically aware early-career professional with experience in project coordination, site operations, technical project support or a similar environment.

Candidates may come from marine, shipyard, refit, construction, industrial or other practical project environments. Previous superyacht experience is not essential.

Requirements

• Knowledge of paints, coatings, fairing, surface preparation or finishing.
• Experience supporting subcontractors, production teams or site scheduling.
• Technical education in engineering, construction or project management.
• Confidence using Excel or project-planning tools.
