K-LAGAN is seeking a Piping Engineer to join our engineering team in Madrid. You will design, develop, and coordinate piping systems within industrial projects, ensuring technical quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires 4+ years' experience, proficiency with PDMS/E3D/Plant 3D, and strong knowledge of piping codes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review documentation, perform stress analyses, and support procurement.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 4+ years of piping engineering experience in industrial projects.
• Experience with 3D modeling and piping codes.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and coordinate piping systems for industrial projects.

We are looking for a Piping Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and coordination of piping systems within industrial projects, ensuring technical quality, compliance with applicable codes and standards, and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review piping design documentation including P&IDs, piping layouts, and isometrics.
• Perform piping material specification and line sizing calculations.
• Carry out pipe stress analysis and flexibility studies when required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, EN).
• Prepare and review technical specifications, material take-offs (MTO), and requisitions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation).
• Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor documentation and technical bids.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP meetings, and technical coordination meetings.
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
• Travel to project or construction sites when necessary (up to 10%).

Requirements – Education & Soft Skills:

• Languages: Spanish (high level) and English (intermediate-advanced).

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in piping engineering within industrial projects (Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, or similar sectors).
• Experience in 3D modeling tools such as PDMS, E3D, Plant 3D, or similar.
• Knowledge of international piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, EN 13480).
• Experience performing pipe stress analysis (e.g., CAESAR II or equivalent software is a plus).
• Understanding of piping supports design and material selection.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Experience preparing MTOs and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in EPC or EPCM projects.
• Site engineering or construction support experience.
• Knowledge of high-pressure or high-temperature systems.
• Experience in international projects.

Additional Information:

• Work is primarily office-based with the possibility of hybrid arrangements depending on project needs.
• Occasional travel to project or construction sites may be required.
• Participation in technical coordination meetings and project milestones reviews is expected.
