The Report Company in Madrid is seeking a Junior Accounting Assistant to join our international publishing team. You will support the financial and operational backbone of the business, handling invoices, data entry and AI-driven process improvements.

This role offers hands-on training with Odoo and other internal systems, exposure to senior management, and the chance to develop finance skills while contributing to automation and digital tool adoption across finance, operations and HR.

Formación

• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish; interviews in English.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Interest in technology, digital tools and AI.
• Ability to learn new software quickly; training provided on Odoo.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Around one to two years of experience in finance, accounting or administration is desirable; recent graduates encouraged.
• Immediate start.

Responsabilidades

• Organizing and processing incoming invoices using our business management platform, Odoo.
• Liaising with collaborators to collect end of month invoices and cross checking against financial packages.
• Performing financial calculations, including commission payments and interest calculations.
• Preparing and organizing financial documentation to support accounting and tax filing.
• Analyzing financial information and producing summaries to support business decisions.
• Verifying financial data and carrying out checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Categorizing financial transactions to improve reporting and financial visibility.
• Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of digital tools and internal workflows.
• Assisting with the development of AI driven processes and automation across the finance and operations departments.
• Providing administrative support across finance, logistics and HR when required.
