Sporty Group in Madrid is seeking an Accountant to support financial operations across multiple countries within our diverse portfolio spanning media, production, tech and marketing verticals. You will work closely with a Senior accountant to ensure accurate financial records, efficient payment processing and compliance with local regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field.
• 2 years accounting experience with core accounting competencies preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems; experience with QuickBooks or Xero is an asset.
• Fluent in Spanish and English for professional communication.
• Understanding VAT regulations and Spanish GAAP (PGC) or IFRS.

Responsabilidades

• Manage accounts payable and receivable across multiple countries.
• Process payments and maintain comprehensive transaction records.
• Monitor aging reports to support cash flow management.
• Organize and archive financial documentation with filing procedures.
• Reconcile internal records with statutory accounts for accuracy.
• Coordinate with external accounting firm on compliance and billing queries.
• Support month-end closing activities for group reporting.
• Maintain proficiency in Excel and ERP systems for reporting.
• Collaborate to improve financial procedures and controls.
