Zusammenfassung

AESC is expanding its battery gigafactory in Navalmoral de la Mata and seeks an EHS Junior Engineer to join the on-site team. You will review design documents for fire protection, support ATEX classification, and participate in risk assessments from design through commissioning.

You will collaborate with international teams and senior engineers, ensuring compliance with Spanish and EU regulations while developing expertise in process safety and fire protection on demanding construction projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, Electrical or similar).
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years in EHS / PRL, fire protection, process safety or industrial engineering.
• Able to read technical drawings (AutoCAD / PDF) and comfortable using Excel to track registers.
• English – B2 minimum; Spanish C1+ and Chinese a plus.
• Based in Navalmoral de la Mata or nearby; 100% on site.
• Curious, rigorous, organized, proactive and autonomous.

Aufgaben

• Review EHS and fire protection drawings against Spanish/EU regs and AESC standards.
• Maintain comment and corrective-action register and close issues.
• Support ATEX hazardous area classification and Explosion Protection Document updates.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA studies and track recommendations.
• Oversee fire protection works on site, certificates and commissioning.
• Prepare as-built docs and support inspections for fire regulatory acceptance.
