Job summary

AESC Spain is expanding its battery gigafactory in Navalmoral de la Mata and is seeking an EHS Junior Engineer to join from design through commissioning to start of production. You will review drawings for fire protection and safety, follow up actions, and work with the Construction (GIC) team and design institutes in a multinational setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, up to 2 years in EHS or process safety, proficiency with AutoCAD and Excel, English at B2,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years in EHS / PRL, fire protection or process safety.
• Able to read technical drawings and use Excel for tracking.
• English B2 minimum; Spanish C1 or above, and Chinese a plus.
• Based in Navalmoral de la Mata or within ~45 minutes by car; 100% on site.

Responsibilities

• Review EHS and fire protection drawings against regulations and standards.
• Keep comment and corrective-action registers and close actions with designers.
• Support ATEX classification and DPCE; participate in HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA studies.
• Follow fire protection installation works and support OCA inspections.
