AESC is expanding in Spain with a €1‑billion gigafactory in Extremadura. The EHS Compliance and Permitting Supervisor will own the environmental and industrial permits for the Navalmoral de la Mata site, from construction through commissioning to production, focusing on environmental authorisation, water, emissions, waste and reporting.

You will report to the EHS Head of Spain, lead a small team, and coordinate with Construction, Engineering and external consultants, ensuring compliance with ISO

Formación

• University degree in Environmental Sciences or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
• At least 8 years of experience in EHS/environmental compliance.
• Experience permitting a new plant and dealing with Spanish authorities.

Responsabilidades

• Own the plant's environmental permits and permit roadmap from construction through start‑up.
• Coordinate documentation for permits with Engineering, Construction, suppliers and consultants.
• Act as main technical contact for Junta de Extremadura, river basin authority, and local authorities; manage meetings and inspections.
• Plan and follow up inspections by accredited bodies and close out findings on time.
• Ensure compliance with environmental authorisation and monitoring programmes (emissions, wastewater, noise, soil, groundwater).
• Lead the compliance and permitting team as the plant grows.
