Fuerte Group Hotels, part of the Fuerte Group, seeks a Junior Controller for the Hotel Daia La Herradura project in La Herradura (Almuñécar, Granada). You will drive budget oversight, track costs, and prepare executive reports for the Board and banking partners.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance or related field.

With nearly 70 years of established corporate history, our group is expanding its luxury resort portfolio through major development ventures. To support the construction and financial oversight of our exclusive upcoming destination, Hotel Daia La Herradura (Almuñécar, Granada), we are seeking an ambitious, analytical Junior Controller to join our team in La Herradura, Granada, Spain.

In this financial control role, you will oversee budget compliance, manage project cash flow, analyze cost variances, and prepare high-level executive reports for the Board of Directors and banking institutions.

Job Description: Junior Controller (Hotel Daia La Herradura - Fuerte Group)

Your Mission: Financial Oversight & Project Cost Optimization

Your primary goal involves driving fiscal precision and budget efficiency across our landmark hotel development project. To achieve this, you will execute continuous cost tracking and financial analysis. At the same time, you will keep project documentation, billings, and cash flow projections fully aligned with corporate standards. Therefore, you will track expenditures, analyze variance reports, assess contractor credit risks, and generate monthly analytical reporting. As a result, you will eliminate budgetary bottlenecks and prepare for broader international project leadership within the group.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Economic & Budgetary Control: Track the overall project budget, perform monthly deviation analysis, and identify cost‑saving optimizations.
• Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash‑flow movements, analyze balance sheets, and evaluate financial risk for contractors, clients, and suppliers.
• Management & Bank Reporting: Prepare monthly analytical accounting schedules and draft clear financial summary presentations for the Board of Directors and banking partners.
• Process & Documentation Oversight: Supervise financial paperwork, contractor agreements, customer billing, payment remittances, and invoices tied to the construction development.

Who You Are: The Ambitious Finance Professional

• Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (ADE), Business Studies (Empresariales), Economics, or a related field (Double Degrees are highly desirable).
• Proven Foundations: You bring 1 to 2 years of professional experience in accounting, administrative management, or corporate finance (prior experience in the construction industry is not required).
• Analytical & Accounting Knowledge: You possess a solid understanding of financial accounting, cost allocation, budgetary controls, and financial statement analysis.
• Technical Skills: You demonstrate an advanced command of Microsoft Excel and general office software. Familiarity with construction cost and management tools (e.g., Presto, M4PRO, or similar ERPs) is valued.
• The Linguist: You display B2‑level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish to support our domestic and international corporate pipeline.
• Mobility & Logistics: You hold a valid driver's license, own a vehicle, and are fully available for on‑site work in La Herradura (Almuñécar, Granada).
• Key Competencies: You demonstrate exceptional analytical rigor, high initiative, proactivity, structured organization, and a strong drive to learn business operations from the inside out.
