BTD is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to maintain and support our digitalization platforms and hardware. You will manage backups, document management, and cloud services while assisting users and coordinating with the Systems Administrator.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical support, asset management, and security awareness, with opportunities to improve processes and ensure confidentiality across the organization.

Formación

• Higher Vocational Training in Computer Science, Systems, Telecommunications or related fields.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in systems, IT infrastructure, hardware or technical support.
• Knowledge of hardware and systems infrastructure, including servers, computer equipment, devices and firewalls.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
• Knowledge of the management and maintenance of operating systems, applications and user support tools.
• Knowledge of digital document management, backups, cloud services and cybersecurity will be considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools.
• English and/or French proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and update user manuals for applications and tools.

• Manage the digital document management platform: sites, access, monitoring.
• Maintain and manage hardware infrastructure: servers, devices, telephony and other components.
• Monitor hardware infrastructure and associated cloud services; identify needs.
• Analyze hardware requirements and support budget evaluations.
• Keep equipment inventory up to date and monitor assets.
• Contribute to system security and raise cybersecurity awareness.
• Handle and resolve technical user incidents with escalation when needed.
• Advise users on the use of the btd external brand.
• Coordinate with the Systems Administrator and report incidents and needs.

Requirements

• Higher Vocational Training (Advanced Vocational Training) in Computer Science, Systems, Telecommunications or related fields. Other technical qualifications related to the position will also be considered.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in systems, IT infrastructure, hardware or technical support.
• Knowledge of hardware and systems infrastructure, including servers, computer equipment, devices and firewalls.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools.
• Knowledge of the management and maintenance of operating systems, applications and user support tools.
• Knowledge of digital document management, backups, cloud services and cybersecurity will be considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools.
• English and/or French proficiency. Knowledge of either of these languages will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to efficiently resolve technical incidents and problems.
