Assist Digital in Valencia seeks an IT Systems Administrator to maintain and operate company computer systems, with emphasis on multi-user servers and uptime. You will ensure performance, resources, and security align with user needs, and collaborate on software/hardware upgrades, automation, and policy enforcement.

The role requires Windows Server expertise (AD, DHCP, DNS), VMware familiarity, and fluency in English or Italian. Shift work and on-call availability are expected.

Formación

• Identify and resolve technical HW and SW issues.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2022 infrastructure (AD, Policy, DHCP, DNS, PowerShell).
• Familiar with infrastructure and virtualization principles (VMware).
• Fluent in English or Italian.
• Able to work shifts and on-call.
• Positive, effective communication.
• Familiar with customer-care department operations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and operate computer systems, including multi-user servers.
• Ensure uptime, performance, resources, and security meet user needs.
• Collaborate with team to install/upgrade components, automate tasks, maintain security policies, and troubleshoot.
• Collaborate on maintaining network infrastructure such as switches and routers.

Descripción del empleo

• You are a High School Graduate or you have a University Degree preferably in Technical Field;
• You are able to identify and resolve both technical HW and SW issues;
• You have Windows server 2016/2022 infostructure knowledge especially Domini, Active Directory, Policy, DHCP, DNS, PowerShell, etc;
• You have the knowledge of infrastructure and virtualization principles (preferably VMWARE);
• You are fluent in English or Italian
• You are a natural problem solver, a team player, able to work and perform under pressure, available to work shift job and work on call shift;
• You communicate in a positive and effective manner
• You are familiar with customer-care department operations

It is considered as a plus:

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008/2012 architecture and clustering
• Knowledge of Linux Server and Linux environment
• Knowledge of Avaya and Asterisk telephone infrastructures
• Cisco or Microsoft certificates (CCNA, MCSA, VCP)
• An understanding of IT protocols, routing and switching are appreciated;
• An understanding of firewall equipment (Sonicwall/Fortinet);
• You are fluent in spanish

What you are going to do?

• You will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers;
• You will be responsible to ensure that the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers meet the needs of the users,
• You will be collaborating with the team installing, or upgrading computer components and software; providing routine automation; maintaining security policies; troubleshoot ing;
• You will be collaborating with the team maintaining network infrastructure such as switches and routers .
