Hitachi Energy in Madrid, Spain is seeking an IT/OT System Engineer to join our Operations Center of Excellence. You will contribute to deploying and securing HVDC control systems and integrate features aligned with customer requirements, serving as a key resource in MACH platform deployments for large HVDC projects.

The ideal candidate brings experience in HMI/SCADA, automation design, and cybersecurity, with strong English, and a collaborative mindset to share knowledge across a global team.

Formación

• Degree in a relevant technical field (CS, Automation)
• Experience in HMI design and testing with Aveva or Micro SCADA
• Experience in SCADA and automation design/testing incl. IEC standards
• Experience with databases, high-availability, and network gear (firewalls, switches)
• Good English verbal/written communication; client-facing
• Experience with Windows OS and Active Directory is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Support IT/OT system, network, and cybersecurity design for HVDC projects
• Build infrastructure for networks and systems with cybersecurity levels
• Mentor junior associates and drive knowledge sharing
• Identify opportunities for improvements in systems and processes
