Hitachi Energy is establishing an Operation Center of Excellence in Madrid, Spain (ESOPC) and seeks an IT/OT System Engineer to join the team. You will deploy and secure control systems within HVDC, integrating features that meet customer requirements and contributing to MACH platform deployments on large HVDC projects.

The role emphasizes IT/OT system design, cybersecurity, and collaboration within a global team. English communication and software/hardware integration experience are essential.

Formación

• A university degree in a relevant technical area such as Computer Science or Automation or equivalent experience.
• Experience in HMI design and testing, Aveva platform, Micro SCADA or similar.
• Experience in SCADA, automation design and testing, IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850 with scripting languages and automation technologies.
• Experience with databases and high-availability solutions, plus network equipment like firewalls, switches, GPS clocks and redundant networks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and comfortable in customer discussions.
• Experience with Microsoft client- and server operating systems, AD and security-related systems is meritorious.
