Job summary

Imagina Energía is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology team and drive digital capabilities across Spain. This hands-on leadership role requires technical depth, business acumen and proven experience guiding software projects.

We aim to simplify and leverage an internally developed tech stack, ensuring security, reliability and rapid delivery while responsibly advancing AI adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience.
• Strong technical background across Cloud, Cybersecurity, Web & Backend Development, Databases, Infrastructure and AI.
• Extensive experience leading technology teams and software projects.
• Strong business and product mindset.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• A pragmatic, decisive and results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 6 people.
• Work closely with business teams to understand their real needs and priorities.
• Lead IT projects from requirements through to delivery.
• Stay hands-on and contribute to software development and technical design when needed.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business impact and value.
• Ensure solutions are simple, intuitive, secure and reliable.
• Challenge unnecessary requirements and avoid over-engineering.
• Drive the effective and responsible adoption of AI.

Imagina Energía was founded in 2020 as Spain’s first 100% solar energy company, with the mission of bringing solar energy to homes and businesses in a simple, innovative and sustainable way.

We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology team and help drive the digital capabilities of a growing energy group operating nationwide across Spain.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who combines strong technical expertise, business orientation and experience leading technology teams and software projects.
