Job summary

Huspy in Madrid seeks an IT Administrator to manage internal IT support, device management, and workplace technology for our Spanish operations and wider European footprint.

You will own the end-to-end IT lifecycle—from onboarding and provisioning to endpoint security and core SaaS administration (Jira/Confluence, Google Workspace) with a strong focus on security and efficient IT operations across Europe.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as IT Administrator/IT Engineer.
• Deep Atlassian tooling expertise (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence).
• Practical Zero Trust and IAM practices with MFA and EDR.
• Strong macOS and Windows administration, Google Workspace, and SaaS management.
• Experience with regional hardware onboarding/offboarding and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Regional IT ownership and support for Madrid and Europe across laptops, software, networking, and rooms.
• Own onboarding/offboarding and device lifecycle, including procurement and provisioning.
• Administer and optimize Jira and Confluence workflows and templates.
• Enforce Zero Trust architecture, MFA, and endpoint protection.
• Administer MDMs (Jamf, Kandji, Intune) and Google Workspace.
• Maintain office networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls, AV, and video setups.
• Manage vendor relationships, inventory, warranties, and device refreshes.

About The Role

Huspy is looking for an IT Administrator based in Madrid to manage internal IT support, device management, and workplace technology for our Spanish operations and wider European footprint.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end employee IT lifecycle - from seamless onboarding and provisioning to endpoint security and office technology. You will act as the key hands‑on IT support for Europe, ensuring reliable support, modern access control using Zero Trust architecture, and deep administration of our core SaaS stack (particularly Atlassian/Jira).

The Main Event: What You’ll Drive, Build, and Own

• Regional IT ownership & Support: Manage day‑to‑day internal IT support for all Madrid and wider European staff across laptops, software, Google Workspace, networking, hardware, and meeting rooms.
• Onboarding, Offboarding & Device Lifecycle: Own the end‑to‑end IT onboarding and offboarding flow across Europe—managing hardware procurement, MDM provisioning, automated account setup, IT asset tracking, and offboarding access revocation.
• Atlassian Administration: Manage, configure, and optimise Jira and Confluence workflows, service management templates, permissions, and internal ticketing systems to maintain clear operational visibility across IT support.
• Zero Trust & Security Operations: Enforce modern security standards across all European endpoints by implementing Zero Trust architecture principles, MFA, endpoint protection (EDR), and strict identity & access management (IAM).
• Endpoint & SaaS Administration: Administer and optimise modern MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Intune) alongside Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and business‑critical SaaS tools.
• Office Technology & Infrastructure: Maintain workplace networks, Wi‑Fi connectivity, office firewalls, AV hardware, and video conferencing setups in the Madrid office.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Oversee regional IT hardware inventory, vendor relationships, procurement logistics, warranties, and device refresh cycles.
• Process & SOP Documentation: Build scalable IT workflows, support SLAs, self‑service portals, and clear internal documentation to enhance the overall employee technology experience.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in an IT Administrator/IT Engineer role.
• Atlassian Expertise: Deep expertise administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence), including custom workflows, permission schemes, and integrations.
• Zero Trust & Security Mindset: Practical experience implementing Zero Trust frameworks, conditional access policies, identity governance, and MDM/endpoint compliance.
• Technical Stack: Strong hands‑on experience with macOS and Windows administration, Google Workspace, modern MDM tools, and SaaS management.
