Job summary

Bending Spoons is seeking a talented, driven, and collaborative individual to join our legal team in Madrid (Spain). You will shape IP strategy, manage a diverse portfolio of rights, and handle cross-border disputes and enforcement, while drafting and negotiating critical IP agreements.

Qualifications

• Some experience: practice at a law firm or in-house counsel after law degree.

Responsibilities

• Shape our intellectual property strategy. Build and implement scalable processes to advance IP strategy.
• Manage our portfolio. Harvest inventions and identify trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, designs, and database rights; drive portfolio decisions across jurisdictions.
• Run intellectual property disputes and enforcement. Handle cross-border IP disputes and enforcement with outside counsel.
• Draft and negotiate intellectual property agreements. Review, draft, and negotiate technology and IP agreements while managing risk.
• Be a generalist. Provide sound legal advice on product decisions, transactions, and acquisitions across IP, open source, intermediary liability, advertising and consumer law.
• Build scalable legal tools. Create and maintain forms and playbooks; integrate AI-powered workflows.
• Stay ahead of regulation. Monitor legal developments and identify opportunities to unlock value.
