Cigna Healthcare is seeking an Intake Care Representative to join the CARE Team supporting Global Health Benefits Europe. The role focuses on reviewing GOP requests from an administrative and coverage perspective, communicating with providers and insured members, and ensuring timely case progression.

You will collaborate with colleagues in Madrid and Bengaluru and contribute to accurate, high-quality intake processes, maintaining a customer-focused approach and supporting cross-functional teams

Aufgaben

• Process and send Guarantees of Payment (GOPs) accurately and timely.
• Analyze requests for medical treatments and hospitalizations, including costs and length of stay.
• Verify the patient’s extent of cover and policy information.
• Review relationship with providers, need for medical review and costs.
• Review and monitor cases through intake stages.
• Follow up on pending information to progress cases.
• Maintain accurate and complete case information and documentation.
• Escalate cases to Case Coordination, Case Managers or Medical Advisors as needed.
