Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company is hiring an Intake Care Representative to join the Global Health Benefits Europe CARE Team in Madrid. You will review and process requests for Guarantees of Payment (GOPs) from healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate handling from an administrative and coverage perspective.

You will collaborate with CARE Team colleagues in Madrid and Bengaluru, coordinate with internal teams, and communicate with providers and insured members to gather required

Formación

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in medical or healthcare environment is an advantage.
• Experience in customer service, administration or service-oriented environment is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Guarantee of Payment (GOP) processing and case management.
• Analyze treatment and hospitalization requests per policy.
• Verify coverage and relevant policy information.
• Review provider relationships, medical review needs, and costs.
• Follow intake stages and obtain pending information to progress cases.
• Maintain accurate case information and documentation.
• Escalate to Case Coordination, Case Managers or Medical Advisors when needed.
• Communicate with hospitals/providers and insured members via email/phone.
