Intact Insurance Europe is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Madrid-based Operations team on a temporary 6-month contract. You’ll process data, support customer service delivery and ensure compliance with our global service levels, working closely with Underwriting, Claims, Operations and Finance to deliver high-quality service.

You should be based in Madrid with fluent English and Spanish, strong communication skills, and experience in customer service within financial services.

Formación

• Based in Madrid.
• Fluent English as well as Spanish.
• Customer service experience in financial services industry or other service industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft O365 applications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate and build relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Following receipt of instructions, to accurately process data onto the various systems in a timely manner to meet service standards and operational KPIs.
• Processing commercial/specialty programmes within the Servicing Operations team.
• Check instructions/risk information data and raise queries promptly where required.
• Process the bookings of premiums, pools, local and foreign taxes, and reinsurance as necessary onto the relevant operational systems.
• Carry out processing of taxes for FoS programmes onto the relevant systems.
• Respond to customer/intermediary queries as required and to follow agreed processes, policies, and procedures to ensure customer service standards are consistently achieved.
• Work together with Underwriting, Claims, Operations and Finance teams ensuring effective and timely communication.
• Take personal accountability for active problem solving.
• Support in handling the routine flow of requests for information into and out of the department as well as organizing the production and reporting of business information as necessary to assist and inform other business areas when required.
• Comply with the required standards of best practice, operating effectiveness, and efficiency and all legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
• Contribute as a subject matter expert to the development of Intact Insurance EU Business including participation in project/s and/or continuous improvement as required.
• Undertake any other administration and product processing activities as necessary to maximize operational effectiveness.
• Being aware of and adhering to our regulatory framework.
