AXA XL in Madrid is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to support the France team and provide day-to-day legal guidance to underwriting and operations. You will review and validate contractual documents including insurance contracts, confidentiality agreements, and brokerage protocols, acting as a trusted business partner across functions.

The role reports to the Head of Legal France & Southern Europe and requires a Master’s degree in French private law (insurance law preferred) with fluent

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in French private law, ideally specializing in insurance law.
• Broad knowledge of insurance, reinsurance and contract law.
• Professional experience in an insurance company, brokerage, or law firm.
• Fluency in English and French is imperative.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to underwriting and operations.
• Review and validate contractual documents (insurance contracts, confidentiality agreements, brokerage protocols).
• Manage legal projects and conduct legal watch.
• Provide training to company staff.
