JD Logistics está buscando un ingeniero/a para supervisar la instalación, pruebas y mantenimiento de infraestructuras en un almacén de gran escala. Se coordinarán contratistas y se implementará un marco de Mantenimiento preventivo para maximizar la disponibilidad.

Se requiere formación en Ingeniería Mecánica, Eléctrica o Industrial y dominio de inglés y español; conocimiento de PLCs valorado. Se trabajará en horario flexible durante la fase crítica de commissioning.

Formación

• Experiencia verificada gestionando instalaciones y despliegues de automatización a gran escala.
• Formación técnica en mecánica, electricidad o ingeniería industrial.
• Dominio profesional de inglés y español, chino valorado.
• Capacidad para operar en horarios no estándar durante la fase de commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Supervisar la instalación, pruebas y mantenimiento de infraestructuras y equipos del almacén.
• Dirigir contratistas y proveedores para cumplir planos técnicos y normas UE/ES.
• Diseñar y ejecutar calendario de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo.
• Garantizar cumplimiento normativo de seguridad e instalaciones eléctricas y energéticas.

The Mission & Core Scope

• The Mission: Oversee the physical installation, testing, and continuous operational maintenance of all warehouse infrastructure, automation systems, and mechanical equipment to guarantee maximum uptime from Day One
• The Scope: You will manage technical contractors, supervise the deployment of racking, automated conveyor belts, and sorting systems, and implement the local preventative maintenance framework for the Madrid facilities

Crucial Expectations & Performance Targets

To provide a clear understanding of the accountability required, the successful candidate will be evaluated on the following key metrics during the initial 6 to 12 months:

• Infrastructure Commissioning: Ensure all automated systems, sorters, scanning equipment, and physical structures are installed, tested, and legally certified strictly on schedule for the site launch
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Successfully supervise and audit third-party engineering contractors, ensuring all installations strictly adhere to agreed technical blueprints, budget constraints, and EU/Spanish industrial standards (Normas UNE / CE marking)
• Equipment Reliability Architecture: Design and deploy a robust preventative and corrective maintenance schedule, minimizing operational downtime and maximizing the lifecycle of automated and mobile assets
• Technical Asset Compliance: Guarantee that 100% of the warehouse machinery, charging stations, and mechanical infrastructure meet local industrial safety and energy regulations

Position Requirements

• Greenfield Launch Expertise: You must have a verified engineering or technical background successfully managing facility setups, automation rollouts, or reliability maintenance engineering (RME) for a large-scale distribution center or manufacturing site launch
• Technical Background: A degree or advanced technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, with deep knowledge of automated material handling systems (MHS) and PLC-driven environments
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to manage local technical contractors and align on technical engineering specifications with global HQ. Knowledge of Mandarin is a highly valued corporate asset
• Operational Agility: Complete flexibility to oversee technical operations during non-standard hours, test cycles, and emergency equipment interventions during the critical commissioning phase
