JD Logistics, la división de logística de JD.com, busca un líder técnico para supervisar la instalación física, pruebas y mantenimiento operativo continuo de toda la infraestructura de almacenes y equipos automatizados, garantizando máxima disponibilidad desde el primer día.

Serás responsable de gestionar contratistas, supervisar la implantación de estanterías, cintas transportadoras y sistemas de clasificación, y de implementar un marco local de mantenimiento preventivo para las instalaciones

Formación

• Greenfield Launch Expertise: background engineering/technical managing facility setups, automation rollouts, or reliability maintenance for large-scale distribution/manufacturing launch
• Technical Background: degree or advanced technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with knowledge of automated material handling systems (MHS) and PLC-driven environments
• Language Proficiency: fluency in English and Spanish mandatory for coordinating local contractors and aligning with HQ; Mandarin valued
• Operational Agility: ability to oversee technical operations during non-standard hours, test cycles, and emergencies during commissioning phase

Responsabilidades

• Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of warehouse infrastructure and automation to guarantee uptime from Day One.
• Manage technical contractors and supervise deployment of racking, conveyor belts, and sorting systems.
• Design and deploy preventative and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifecycle.
• Ensure 100% compliance of warehouse machinery and facilities with local safety and energy regulations.

The Mission & Core Scope

• The Mission: Oversee the physical installation, testing, and continuous operational maintenance of all warehouse infrastructure, automation systems, and mechanical equipment to guarantee maximum uptime from Day One
• The Scope: You will manage technical contractors, supervise the deployment of racking, automated conveyor belts, and sorting systems, and implement the local preventative maintenance framework for the Madrid facilities

Crucial Expectations & Performance Targets

To provide a clear understanding of the accountability required, the successful candidate will be evaluated on the following key metrics during the initial 6 to 12 months:

• Infrastructure Commissioning: Ensure all automated systems, sorters, scanning equipment, and physical structures are installed, tested, and legally certified strictly on schedule for the site launch
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Successfully supervise and audit third-party engineering contractors, ensuring all installations strictly adhere to agreed technical blueprints, budget constraints, and EU/Spanish industrial standard s (Normas UNE / CE marking)
• Equipment Reliability Architecture: Design and deploy a robust preventative and corrective maintenance schedule, minimizing operational downtime and maximizing the lifecycle of automated and mobile assets
• Technical Asset Compliance: Guarantee that 100% of the warehouse machinery, charging stations, and mechanical infrastructure meet local industrial safety and energy regulations

Position Requirements

• Greenfield Launch Expertise: You must have a verified engineering or technical background successfully managing facility setups, automation rollouts, or reliability maintenance engineering (RME) for a large-scale distribution center or manufacturing site launch
• Technical Background: A degree or advanced technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, with deep knowledge of automated material handling systems (MHS) and PLC-driven environments
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory to manage local technical contractors and align on technical engineering specifications with global HQ. Knowledge of Mandarin is a highly valued corporate asset
• Operational Agility: Complete flexibility to oversee technical operations during non-standard hours, test cycles, and emergency equipment interventions during the critical commissioning phase
