Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Software Consulting Engineer specialized in T&D Configuration Systems and software solutions. The role focuses on driving revenue growth internationally for Power Industry products, managing key OEM accounts, and delivering technically-sound solutions.

Applicants should have 5–7 years in technical sales within industrial sectors, strong relay/RTU/sensor knowledge, and fluent English. Willingness to travel up to 30–40% is required, with the ability to work collaboratively

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent.
5–7 years of technical sales in industrial/manufacturing sectors.
Experience selling into key accounts; travel 30–40%.
Strong knowledge of relays, RTUs, and sensors and their applications.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth for Power Industry products internationally through regional business strategies.
Develop and execute account plans for main OEMs in energy sector, cultivating relationships with decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
Lead complete sales process from lead generation to contract closure, including presentations, negotiations, and forecasting.
Achieve sales targets by expanding product lines within accounts and identifying new opportunities.
Maintain deep technical expertise in relays, RTUs, sensors, and related components to translate customer requirements into solutions.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and track KPIs to inform strategic decisions.
Find business partners to expand our portfolio with complementary products.
