Import-Export Technician

We are seeking an Import & Export Logistics Technician to join our dedicated Import/Export and Logistics team. Based at our headquarters in Barcelona, the selected candidate will manage the import-export process from transport to final destination within the Global Business Unit.

About the Role :

The role involves coordinating the shipment of raw materials and finished products between factories and clients across different countries and regions. The technician will collaborate with the Planning department to ensure supply chain needs are met and will oversee all import-export activities, including booking freight and maritime transport from port to destination. They will work with Global Procurement to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of materials, maintaining quality and stock integrity.

Responsibilities :

• Manage import and export trade operations
• Handle legal exemptions, allowances, licenses, and government approvals
• Manage customs clearances and documentation
• Coordinate supply chain activities to meet demand
• Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders
• Maintain relationships with agents, transporters, and merchandisers for visibility of movements
• Plan and oversee logistics operations

Qualifications :

• Degree in International Business Economics or Trade from ESCI-UPF
• Fluent in English and Spanish (C1 level), other languages are a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in maritime transport and foreign trade
• Proficiency in Office (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI is a plus
• Experience with SAP
• Experience in food industry companies is valued
