Alstom in Madrid seeks a Project Commodity Buyer to define and execute sourcing strategies for tenders and projects, lead supplier selection, and manage performance across engineering and supply chain teams.

You will conduct market analysis, negotiate terms, support supplier development, handle non-conformities, and steer on-time, on-budget deliveries within a dynamic project environment.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing and project procurement.
• English level: intermediate to advanced.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic project environment.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute sourcing strategies for tenders and projects.
• Lead supplier selection, evaluation and performance management activities.
• Conduct market analysis to identify competitive sourcing alternatives.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier non-conformities and claims resolution.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project deliveries.
• Drive procurement performance through cost optimisation and risk management initiatives.
