Alstom in Madrid is seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead procurement excellence across our Spain operations. You will drive supplier performance, strengthen procurement capabilities and ensure successful execution of projects supporting greener mobility worldwide.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams and manage a local procurement workforce, focusing on governance, risk management and continuous improvement in QCD outcomes.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of procurement experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing multicultural teams.
• Fluent English with an international mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a local procurement team, ensuring capability growth and workload optimization.
• Drive procurement performance through compliance with procurement processes, tools and governance.
• Support procurement commitments during tender phases and validate local commodity strategies.
• Manage supplier performance, monitor QCD objectives, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support project execution through commercial negotiations, risk mitigation and procurement performance tracking.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality and finance teams to improve operational efficiency and cash performance.
• Contribute to local risk management and supplier panel compliance.
• Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and the highest standards of ethical conduct.
