FERO, a Madrid-based fintech startup, is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and scale backend services and the analytics platform powering dashboards.

You will develop reliable APIs, design scalable systems, and work closely with the engineering team to deliver platform improvements. The role emphasizes solving technical challenges in a fast-paced environment and contributing to performance and reliability initiatives.

Formación

• Professional Python development experience.
• Experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Spring Boot).
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an engineering team.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain backend services, primarily in Python.
• Develop and maintain robust REST APIs.
• Design scalable and reliable backend systems.
• Work with analytics data, powering dashboards with efficient queries to ClickHouse.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver platform improvements.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Contribute to engineering tooling and best practices.
