Revolut Ltd in Spain is seeking a Platform Engineer to contribute to our core backend systems, from the event store to the transactional infrastructure that powers our fintech platform. You will ship components used across the engineering org, with small improvements saving time later.

The role requires 7+ years of backend experience, a CS-related degree, and fluency in Java (or other backend languages). You will work in a fast-paced team, collaborating across departments, with potential remote

Formación

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, maths, physics, or similar.
• Production fluency in Java or expertise in Kotlin/Scala/Python/Go.
• A track record of building core systems or foundational platforms that other engineers built on top of.
• Distributed systems experience at a meaningful scale.
• The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Build and scale our core backend systems.
• Write high-throughput, concurrent code at production scale.
• Work on problems that affect multiple teams across Engineering.
• Review code and help other engineers with system design.
