Siemens Mobility, S.L.U. in Madrid is seeking an On-Premises Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and evolve secure, scalable private cloud platforms for our next generation railway signaling solutions.

Your work directly impacts critical projects worldwide, helping hundreds of thousands of passengers travel safely every day. You’ll focus on OpenShift and Kubernetes, automate with Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tools, and maintain observability with Prometheus and Grafana.

Formación

Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on Kubernetes and OpenShift deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.
Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash).
Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

Design, deploy, and evolve secure, scalable private cloud platforms for railway solutions.
Configure and deploy components like PostgreSQL, JBoss, and ActiveMQ Artemis to meet project needs.
Install, upgrade, and manage OpenShift and Kubernetes environments and related resources.
Modernise legacy Java/Linux apps toward containerised, microservices architectures.
Automate with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and Tekton.
Implement platform observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
