SQUAD - Cabinet de conseils et d’expertises is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Madrid (El Escorial) to own the client’s container infrastructure and ensure reliable OpenShift operations. The role is hybrid with three days per week on-site at the public sector client, focusing on deployment, performance, and security.

You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to keep applications running smoothly, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate tasks using Bash, Python, and Ansible in

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure administration.
• Expert-level hands-on experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven experience with OpenShift specifically.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible).
• Comfortable working in public sector or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the container platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift), ensuring stability and performance.
• Deploy and manage application releases, including rollback strategies where needed.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and tools such as Ansible.
• Monitor systems, diagnose incidents, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Manage access control and apply security best practices within the container environment.
• Collaborate with client teams to align on operational priorities and standards.
