Verisure in Madrid Pozuelo de Alarcón is seeking an experienced IT Platform Engineer focused on Kubernetes administration. The role covers on-prem/RKE2 over VMware and cloud platforms (EKS/AKS), building a standardized platform and automation layer to empower development teams.

You will collaborate with Core Cloud and IT Ops, maintain security governance, and drive observability enhancements using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana.

Formación

• University degree required or equivalent in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role with hands-on Kubernetes administration in production.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proven experience with on-premises Kubernetes (RKE2/VMware vSphere) and cloud Kubernetes (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and operate Kubernetes platform across on-prem and cloud.
• Establish governance, RBAC, network policies and security baseline.
• Drive automation and GitOps adoption; contribute to cloud-native architectures.
• Support migration of workloads from on-prem to AWS and other clouds.
• Mentor platform operations teams and engage with stakeholders.
