Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, seeks a Senior Platform Engineer in Madrid to design and operate scalable AWS-based infrastructure and manage Kubernetes ecosystems. The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and collaboration with product engineering teams.

Required are strong AWS and EKS experience, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, and Fluent English and Spanish speakers. The role offers a hybrid work model with on-site presence in Madrid and benefits as listed.

Formación

• Strong experience with AWS production environments.
• Hands-on Kubernetes management with EKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices experience.
• Experience with Confluent Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Experience defining platform reliability via observability & SLOs.
• Knowledge of internal developer platforms and SRE practices (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and operate scalable, secure and resilient AWS-based infrastructure.
• Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters, including EKS.
• Automate infrastructure and lifecycle management via IaC and platform engineering practices.
• Operate and optimize shared platform services (RDS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Confluent Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Lead improvements in observability, monitoring, incident response and resilience.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs for platform services and drive availability improvements.
• Build self-service capabilities to improve developer experience.
• Contribute to platform architecture and roadmap with product engineering teams.
