Airbus UpNext is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead high-power test bench development for HV systems up to 1250VDC and 1MW. You will select power sources, manage equipment, and ensure safe, compliant integration within an agile, startup-like environment backed by Airbus.

Formación

• 5–10 years hands-on experience in high-power electrical engineering.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Deep understanding of high-power equipment up to 1MW.
• Experience steering suppliers through manufacturing and acceptance.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.
• Pragmatic, autonomous and safety-conscious in agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design and specify HV test bench hardware: AC/DC sources, load banks, switching matrices, energy storage.
• Design high-bandwidth DAQ hardware and sensors for high-EMI, high-current environments.
• Draft Purchaser Technical Specifications and assess supplier proposals and milestones.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and validation of power equipment.
• Support electrical risk analysis and safety procedures.
• Contribute to electrical evolution of HV batteries, converters and distribution systems.
