Job summary

Airnord APC in Madrid seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, troubleshoot, and optimize ESP electrical systems and high‑voltage installations. You will work across design offices and on-site worldwide, collaborating with project management and commissioning teams.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electromechanical engineering, hands-on HV experience, and fluent English. Travel is expected (100–170 days/year) in support of global projects.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel internationally (100–170 days/year).
• Experience with industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and support electrical systems for ESP installations and upgrades.
• Prepare electrical engineering documentation including schematics, specifications, calculations, cable lists, and reports.
• Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization at customer sites worldwide.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, inspections, and performance evaluations.
• Assist in diagnosing electrical, control, and high-voltage system issues.
• Collaborate with automation, mechanical, and process engineering teams during project execution.
• Provide technical support to sales, project management, procurement, and aftermarket teams.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site personnel on technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with international electrical standards, safety regulations, and internal procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and professional development.
