Airbus Defence and Space is seeking an experienced Powerplant Control System engineer to lead design, integration and validation tasks for advanced propulsion control architectures. You will work across disciplines with engine manufacturers and test teams, applying DO-178C/DO-254 related practices where relevant.

The role requires strong communication in English and Spanish, hands-on testing, and willingness to travel for integration campaigns and customer support.

Formación

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Telecomms or Computer Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in design and development of control systems for aerospace or defense.
• Experience with system testing campaigns and verification documentation.
• Solid knowledge of software development, control theory, PLC programming logic, microcontrollers and communications buses.

Responsabilidades

• Proposing new ideas for future control system architectures.
• Identifying customer needs and proposing optimal solutions.
• Designing and integrating powerplant control systems (new or legacy).
• Performing validation of design solutions and developing testing platforms.
• Coordinating transversal activities within the team and with engine manufacturers.
• Analyzing qualification and verification documentation for correct system integration.
• Supporting A/C test campaigns (Labs/Ground) as Design Office Support.
• Developing professionally with training from experts.
