Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for a Spain-based remote/hybrid role. The candidate will support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany, with emphasis on statistical programming for AMNOG modules.

The role targets biostatisticians or data scientists with strong clinical evidence application to reimbursement. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and CDISC SDTM/ADaM.
• Knowledge of the German AMNOG process, IQWiG, or G-BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, with a focus on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Perform scientific assessment and analysis of clinical trial data, including analyses of efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of outputs.
• Contribute to automation and standardization of analysis workflows for efficiency, consistency, and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes.
• Monitor and interpret methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA and relevant HTA bodies.
