Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German to support health technology assessment and market access activities in a Spain-based, remote/hybrid role. The candidate will contribute to AMNOG dossiers, perform statistical analyses on clinical trial data, and support automation of analysis workflows.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of SAS programming experience, some R skills, and fluent German and English. A Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biostatistics, data science, or related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access and/or clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Knowledge of the German AMNOG process, IQWiG, or G‑BA procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outcomes.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G BA, and HTA bodies.
