Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Programmer (SAS & R) with German proficiency for Spain-based remote/hybrid work to support health technology assessment and market access activities in Germany. Biostatisticians or data scientists with interest in reimbursement will thrive as statistical programming is a major focus.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science and have HTA/AMNOG exposure, CDISC SDTM/ADaM familiarity, and strong programming skills in SAS (and R).

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
• Experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access (industry, consultancy, or research institute preferred).
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with clinical study data and industry standards (CDISC SDTM/ADaM).
• Familiarity with German AMNOG processes, IQWiG or G-BA procedures a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop German AMNOG dossiers with a focus on programming statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Analyze clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, and patient-relevant endpoints.
• Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons; support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams.
• Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outcomes.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA and related HTA bodies.
