Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for Spain-based remote/hybrid work. The role focuses on health technology assessment (AMNOG) support and market access activities, with emphasis on statistical programming and data analysis for German dossiers.

The candidate should have a Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science, plus HTA/AMNOG or Market Access exposure, and fluency in German and English. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science, or a related field.
Initial HTA/AMNOG/HEOR or Market Access experience and/or clinical development exposure.
Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
Familiarity with CDISC SDTM/ADaM datasets and German AMNOG process is an advantage.
Fluent German and English, written and spoken, is an absolute must.

Responsibilities

Develop statistical analyses for German AMNOG modules with emphasis on programming.
Analyze clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety and subgroup analyses.
Perform meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons, supporting interpretation.
Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency and reproducibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA).
Ensure scientific quality and clarity of generated outputs.
Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA and HTA bodies.
