Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Programmer (SAS & R) with German for a Spain-based role, offering remote/hybrid work from Madrid. The position focuses on statistical programming to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s or PhD in biostatistics or data science and experience in HTA/HEOR, CDISC SDTM/ADaM, and German HTA processes, with strong analytical and programming skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in biostatistics, data science or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access and/or in clinical development.
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Familiarity with German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G‑BA procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on programming of statistical analyses for Module 4.
• Perform analyses of clinical trial data, including efficacy, safety, endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Conduct meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons and support interpretation of outputs.
• Automate and standardize analysis workflows for efficiency, consistency, and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, EU-HTA Team).
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity, and consistency of generated outcomes.
• Monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA and relevant HTA bodies.
