Power International Holding seeks an experienced HSE Manager to support executive leadership in establishing safeworking conditions and environmental compliance. The role oversees HSE programs, drives policy implementation, and ensures client satisfaction through safety excellence.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, incident investigations, training delivery, and KPI monitoring to continuously improve HSE performance and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Knowledge in Health, safety and Environmental management principles and processes.
• Knowledge in risk assessment and management principles and processes.
• Knowledge in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.
• Knowledge in integrated management system.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and oversee HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and mitigate incidents.
• Provide leadership to HSE teams, contractors, and stakeholders to foster safety culture.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver HSE training on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics and analyze data for improvements.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders on HSE matters.
• Prepare HSE reports and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance through best practices.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HSE risks and initiatives.

Job Summary

The HSE Manager supports the Executive Director, Project Director and/or Project Manager to establish safeworking conditions and prevent adverse environmental situations. Oversees and ensures HSE programs are incompliance with the state, client and organizational regulations applicable and to design, implement, evaluateand improve policies and procedures to ensure high performance standards, environment, safe workingconditions and client satisfaction. HSE Manager is considered as accident prevention manager in site.

Job Responsibilities 1

Develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend control measures to mitigate potential incidents.

Provide leadership and guidance to HSE teams, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence and improve HSE performance.

Develop and deliver HSE training programs to educate employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and environmental responsibilities.

Monitor and evaluate HSE performance metrics, track trends, and analyze data to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.

Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and external stakeholders on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.

Prepare HSE reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, communicating key findings and recommendations.

Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance through the implementation of best practices, lessons learned, and feedback mechanisms.

Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HSE-related risks, opportunities, and initiatives, contributing to overall business success and sustainability.

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge in Health, safety and Environmental management principles and processes. Knowledge in risk

assessment and management principles and processes. Knowledge in construction practices across State of

Qatar. Knowledge in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.Knowledge of international and local HSE legislation ( Legal

and other Requirement).Knowledge in integrated management system. Strong experience in working with third

party contractors to create a successful HSE programme.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Level 6 Diploma in OHS
