The Human Resource Manager at SmartRecruiters, Inc. will lead the HR department, overseeing onboarding, payroll, benefits, and leave administration while enforcing company policies at the local Canada facility.

This role requires supervising a team, partnering with leadership on talent strategy, recruitment, retention, and succession planning, and guiding HR staff through complex inquiries with integrity and discretion.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department.
• Assist discipline and termination of employees per HR policy.
• Partner with leadership to execute talent strategy, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Provide guidance to HR generalists and staff on complex questions and issues.
• Implement learning and development programs created by the HR Director.
• Assist with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
