Job summary

Bacardi Iberia is seeking a motivated HR intern to join our Barcelona-based team for a 6-month, full-time program starting January 2027. You will work across Spain and Portugal, supporting the employee lifecycle and helping deliver people initiatives.

You will gain hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, engagement and HR operations, while developing data skills in Excel and PowerPoint and learning from our HR Business Partners.

Qualifications

• Currently completing or recently completed studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Labour Relations or another relevant field.
• You are interested in building a career in HR and learning about different areas of the function.
• You can communicate effectively and collaborate with people from different teams and backgrounds.
• You are comfortable working with data and digital tools, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• You organize your work effectively, pay attention to detail and can manage different priorities.
• You approach new challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• You are comfortable working in Spanish and English (nice to have Portuguese).
• You understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion when working with employee information.

Responsibilities

• Support HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement and offboarding.
• Coordinate and follow up on key HR processes and employee milestones, such as onboarding, probation periods, absences and leave.
• Support the HR team with the implementation and communication of people initiatives, policies and processes across Iberia.
• Contribute to employee engagement, culture, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
• Maintain HR data and documentation, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and handled confidentially.
• Support the preparation of people reports, presentations and HR analytics to help the HR team and business make informed decisions.
• Support the coordination of employee benefits and HR administration, where required.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues and business stakeholders across Iberia to deliver a positive employee experience.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve the way we work.
