Nalanda Global is seeking an HR Business Partner – Talent & Development to drive strategic and operational support across Talent, Learning & Development, and performance initiatives. You will lead a small team, partner with managers, and shape scalable processes to improve employee experience.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, process design, and leveraging AI/tools to advance Talent programs while aligning with business goals and a global context.

Formación

  • At least 3 years in Talent Management, Learning & Development or Organisational Development.
  • At least 2 years as HR Business Partner or Talent Partner.
  • Experience designing Talent, Learning & Development processes.

  • Lead Talent Management initiatives aligned with People strategy.

Role Summary

We are looking for an HR Business Partner – Talent & Development with solid experience partnering with the business and a specialization in Talent, Learning & Development.

This position combines strategic and operational support to managers with leadership of Performance, Career Development, Learning, Succession, Employee Engagement and Talent Management initiatives.

We are not looking for a people manager. We are looking for an HR Business Partner who acts as the technical reference for the Talent area within the People team, working closely with the HR Business Partners to design processes, develop tools and ensure a consistent experience for managers and employees.

This position combines operational leadership with strong technical knowledge of the area. People strategy is defined by the leadership team, so the main objective of the role will be to turn that strategy into scalable processes, initiatives and solutions that add value to the organization.

The person selected will lead a team of two, providing direction, judgment and technical support, while also actively participating in the execution of projects and initiatives. We are looking for a profile with a comprehensive view of Talent, Learning & Development, oriented toward continuous improvement, able to build processes, optimize the way the area works and ensure an excellent experience for employees and managers.

Key responsibilities
Talent Management
  • Lead the execution of Talent Management initiatives aligned with People strategy.
  • Design, implement and improve processes related to performance management, development, career plans, succession plans and talent management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, ensuring their scalability and consistency.
  • Support managers and HR Business Partners on talent development initiatives.
  • Drive and optimize Talent Acquisition processes, ensuring efficient management of the full recruitment cycle, from defining needs with managers through candidate follow‑up and process closure.
  • Ensure correct use, maintenance and analysis of data in the ATS, Teamtailor, guaranteeing data quality, process traceability and the generation of insights for decision‑making on recruitment and talent.
Learning & Development
  • Lead the planning, coordination and follow‑up of the company’s training programs.
  • Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate mandatory, technical and leadership training programs.
  • Analyze learning metrics and evaluate the impact of training initiatives.
  • Ensure an excellent learning experience for employees and managers.
Processes and continuous improvement
  • Design, document and implement processes and procedures related to Talent, Learning & Development.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the area.
Innovation and technology
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate digital tools, automation and Artificial Intelligence to optimize processes, reduce manual tasks and improve employee experience.
  • Stay up to date on trends, methodologies and technology solutions applied to the Talent, Learning & Development space.
HR Business Partnering
  • Act as HR Business Partner for assigned areas, advising managers on all People matters.
  • Support performance, development, organizational change and talent planning processes.
  • Act as the Talent reference for the HRBP team, developing tools, playbooks and best practices.
Qualifications
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in roles related to Talent Management, Learning & Development or Organizational Development.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Talent Partner working with managers and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Talent, Learning & Development processes and procedures.
  • Experience managing LMS platforms.
  • Experience participating in recruitment processes and cross‑functional People projects is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Solid knowledge of the full Talent, Learning & Development cycle.
  • Ability to translate strategy into initiatives and operational processes.
  • Experience in process design and improvement.
  • Analytical mindset and a continuous improvement orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with different stakeholders.
  • Hands‑on, results‑oriented profile able to combine big‑picture thinking with execution.
  • Interest in innovation and in applying Artificial Intelligence and automation tools to People processes.
  • High level of Spanish and English (C1 or equivalent), essential for working in an international environment.
Education
  • University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or similar.
  • Certifications related to Learning & Development, Talent Management, Coaching or Organizational Development are a plus.
