Job summary

Ionity is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide diagnostic and technical support for High Power Charging stations. The role involves traveling to HPC sites within a defined region to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with home base in Spain.

You will work with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime. Requirements include a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, certified electrician credentials, and 2–3 years of field service

Qualifications

Must be a certified electrician with relevant EV/HPC experience.
Willingness to travel internationally and domestically on short notice.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong communication and collaboration with external service providers.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic and technical support to minimize HPC downtime.
Onsite root-cause analysis, servicing, repair, and maintenance at HPC sites.
Order and manage spare parts for HPC stations.
Debug systems and perform remote diagnostics from logged data.
Develop processes and diagnostic knowledge for standard service actions.
Identify trends in field failures and feedback to improve reliability.
Coordinate with engineering and operations to investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
Travel internationally when required for workshops and cross-border repair missions.
