Job summary

Plug Power Inc. in Madrid, Spain, is seeking a Field Application Engineer II to be the main technical resource for the European sales team.

You will drive and manage the technology evaluation stage, advise on Electrolyser solutions, and partner with sales and engineering to meet customer needs. The role requires hands-on technical optimization, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to lead projects with strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of field engineering experience.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
• Strong technical and customer-facing skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical resource for Europe sales and drive technical evaluations.
• Articulate Electrolyser and fuel cell solutions to customers and internal teams.
• Assess customer requirements and map to approved PLUG Power solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop technical solutions.
• Provide product training to sales staff and customers.
• Lead and manage technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs and project delivery.
