Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott International in Barcelona is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional to support day-to-day general ledger processes. You will handle account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution to ensure accurate financial records for the property.

You will coordinate accounting work, audits of SOPs, and provide timely reports. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with balance sheets is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major; no work experience required.
• Or a 2-year degree with 2 years experience in finance and accounting or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements accounting work and projects as assigned.
• Coordinates, implements and follows up on Accounting SOP audits for all areas of the property.
• Balances credit card ledgers and verifies contracts for groups.
• Provides accurate and timely reports and presentations.
• Maintains controls to safeguard assets and ensures compliance with laws and standards.
