Job summary

SLS Barcelona is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join the finance team under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Finance. You’ll support the hotel’s financial operations, manage assets, and maintain a centralized accounting environment in a luxury setting.

You will verify ledgers, prepare journals, reconcile cash and credit card settlements, and ensure adherence to audit and credit policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration or related field.
• +2 years of experience in a hotel’s accounting department.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Verify PMS daily city ledger balances and reconcile with month closing balances.
• Prepare daily revenue journal and allocate revenues to correct GL codes.
• Verify cash settlements posted in PMS against General Cashier reports.
• Reconcile and audit credit card billing and prepare related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with audit policies and Credit Policy procedures.
• Process applications for new credit accounts and maintain active AR accounts.
