Applus IDIADA is seeking an Engineer for its Homologation team. You will analyze documentation, assess prototypes, prepare tests, and analyze results to support approvals. You will manage the full approval process with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate meetings with manufacturers and authorities.

English proficiency is required; other languages are valued. A degree in engineering is essential, with MSc valued, and automotive experience as an asset in a dynamic, hybrid work setting.

Job Description

Our Homologation department is looking for an Engineer to join the team.

Main responsibilities:

• Analysis of manufacturer's documentation
• Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation and test
• Analysis of test results
• Homologation reports
• Manage the whole approval process including multidisciplinary teams
• Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities
• Participation in R+D projects

Qualifications

Education:
Degree in Industrial/mechanical/telecommunications or aeronautical engineering. (MSc valued)
Other engineering degrees or master acceptable depending on competences and experience.

Experience:
Experience in automotive engineering valuable.
Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation or standards.
Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures and equipments.

Languages:
High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German,...).
