Applus+ IDIADA in Tarragona is seeking a Homologation Engineer to join their Homologation team. The successful candidate will handle vehicle certification related to power-train requirements, which includes emissions and fuel consumption. Responsibilities include managing approval tests and delivering official certificates. Ideal candidates have a degree in mechanical engineering, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong planning and collaboration skills. Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in power-train development and/or testing.
• Good level of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Job Description

A Homologation Engineer will work in the Homologation team reporting directly to the Technical Leader of this Area.

Responsibilities

To deal with the certification of the vehicle related to power‑train requirements:

• Exhaust emissions.
• Fuel consumption.
• Engine power.

As Homologation Engineer she/he will be responsible for witnessing the official approval tests at the manufacturer's laboratory according to Idiada's procedures, preparing the related approval dossiers, and managing the delivery of the official approval certificates granted by the Approval Authorities of Spain.

Qualifications - Profile

• Good knowledge of emission regulations for passenger cars and approval of vehicles in general.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in power‑train development and/or testing.
• Excellent planning and collaboration skills.

Qualifications - Education

• Degree in mechanical engineering (or similar).

Qualifications - Languages

• Good level of English.
• Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
