Job summary

Applus+ IDIADA in Spain is seeking an Engineer to join the Homologation team. You will analyze documentation, assess prototypes, run tests, and prepare reports to support vehicle approvals.

This role requires a degree in engineering, experience in automotive engineering, and a high level of English; knowledge of quality control or standards is valued. The company offers a hybrid work model and a diverse, international environment.

Qualifications

• Education: degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Telecommunications or Aeronautical engineering (MSc valued).
• Experience: experience in automotive engineering valuable; knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation or standards.
• Languages: High level of English; other languages valued (French, Italian, German).

Job Description

Our Homologation department is looking for an Engineer to join the team.

Main responsibilities:

• Analysis of manufacturer's documentation
• Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation and test
• Analysis of test results
• Homologation reports
• Manage the whole approval process including multidisciplinary teams
• Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities
• Participation in R+D projects

Qualifications

Education:
Degree in Industrial/mechanical/telecommunications or aeronautical engineering. (MSc valued)
Other engineering degrees or master acceptable depending on competences and experience.

Experience:
Experience in automotive engineering valuable.
Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation or standards.
Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures and equipments.

Languages:
High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German,...).
